Get Your RS-tor at the Royal International Horse Show!

The Royal International Horse Show (originally the International Horse Show) is the official horse show of the British Horse Society which consists of both fantastic showing and showjumping events. The event is held during July each year at Hickstead and is sponsored by Longines, making it the Longines Royal International Horse Show.

The Royal International Horse Show is the oldest horse show in Britain, having started in 1907. The first Royal International Horse Show was held at London Olympia in 1907, hosted by the Institute of the Horse and Pony Club, which would later become the British Horse Society. It was discontinued during the First World War but after the war the event was revived.

The competition in the disciplines of showing and show jumping at Royal International Horse Show is second to none and the event always attracts many big names so you can be sure to see famous show jumpers and showing specialists. In addition the huge retail village offers equestrian shoppers an absolute delight with hundreds of shops to explore.

This year the Royal International Horse Show is running from 30th July- 4th August and it is well worth added to the equestrian calendar.
